Steve’s info goes here
1/22/2012: I got the following email from Steve about his Lintel:
“George,
Had a little time to work on the Lintel these past couple of days. Both ends of the jib rack brace are installed, the deck blocks mounted, the winch tray has been opened and the RMG mount has been drilled and fitted to the winch. I still haven’t decided on how to do the winch. If I were to follow the build suggestions, I could run the winch line forward to a block and then to the fairlead in the transom well, or do it as the Louisiana folks have and mount it to the outside. I think that the winch’s heavy pieces are the motor and potentiometer and they are closer to the middle of the boat if I put it together as Hew has, so that may be the way I do it as well.
I did contact Ted Flack and got a number for the boat so I could get that glassed into the hull. He can do that and take care of the paperwork after it is measured. Speaking of measuring………. Have you performed an "official" weight check of the fin and bulb? I’m curious as to how much they really weigh. If you have, could you tell me what yours is?
Thanks!
Steve”
